Hand Props

Crystal Ball

This crystal ball was made for the Witch in Big Fish at James Madison University. I stained, frosted and colored it with chalk. As well as creating a base and putting a light inside.

Giant Key

This was a giant "key to the city" hand carved from ply-wood and painted for Big Fish at James Madison University 

Notebooks

 These notebooks where for apocalypse survivors. I torched, burned and painted these books to match their experiences. This was for Mr. Burns A Post-Electric Play at James Madison University 

Science Fair Volcano

This was a hand built volcano for Edward in Big Fish at James Madison University. I paper mache the structure and then painted it. I used hot glue for the lava and painted over so it would pop.

Traveling Case

This was traveling case that I re-painted. Then I designed and drew luggage stickers to cover it with based on Edwards stories in Big Fish at James Madison University.

Backpack

This was a backpack for Gibson. I bleached and stained it for the wilderness look, for Mr. Burns Post-Electric Play at James Madison University.

Circus Clipboard

This was a clipboard for Amos, the werewolf ringmaster. I painted and carved designed on the back.  This was for Big Fish at James Madison University.

Food Props

Cotton Cady

This Cotton Candy was hand made for Big Fish at James Madison University. I used polly fill and pink spray paint.

Popcorn

This popcorn was hand crafted for Big Fish at James Madison University. I used real popcorn to make a mold from tin foil and painted.  

Drinks

These glasses of Champaign and ice tea are made out of resin. The color was mixed with food dye. This was for Big Fish at James Madison University.

BBQ

This was fully hand crafted BBQ for Big Fish at James Madison University. I papier-mâché the structure and painted the rest.

Fireplace

This fire was crafted for Mr.Burns Post Electric Play at James Madison University. I used natural logs and sticks and then wrapped streamers around it.

7/75 years Later

These signs displayed between acts where used for Mr.Burns Post Electric Play at James Madison University. 

Cardboard Car

This Cardboard car was used for the traveling players in Mr.Burns Post Electric Play at James Madison University. This was fully made out of cardboard, tape and then painted.

Young Bedroom

This set dressing was done by me to show a 9 year olds bedroom for Big Fish at James Madison University

This Map was hand drawn and colored for Mr.Burns Post Electric Play at James Madison University

Outdoor Apocalypse

This set dressing was for the apocalypse during Mr.Burns Post Electric Play at James Madison University.

Petals Drop

This was a petal drop I made to rain down fake flower petals during Big Fish at James Madison University. This was a muslin curtain that we cut holes in and attached to 2 line sets. 

Candle TV

This was made for Mr.Burns Post Electric Play at James Madison University. I hollowed out a retro tv and placed battery operated candles to reflect the light.

Elephant

This Elephant was crafted from PVC pipe that was molded into an oval shape. It was then layered 3 times and connected by screws and tape. Then an outer shell made of mattress foam and cardboard. This was for Big Fish at James Madison University

Maggie Simpson

This was completely hand crafted, and sewed. Her body was hand sewed out of recycled fabric. Her body was foam sewed together and then stuffed. It was Maggie Simpson from Mr. Burns Post Electric Play at James Madison University.
